To start the RescueBoot software you can either click on the RescueBoot icon on your computer desktop or click on the "Start" button and then select the option "All Programs" and then select the "RescueBoot" program group and finally click on the "RescueBoot" program shortcut as is illustrated in the image below.
RescueBoot Start Menu
After clicking on the RescueBoot program icon you should immediately see a dialog on your screen that says RescueBoot is determining your available options and displays the license information for your copy of the RescueBoot software. While this dialog is being displayed RescueBoot is examining your current computer configuration and deciding which RescueBoot operations can be performed based on the current state of the existing RescueBoot protected hard disk directory.
RescueBoot Determining Options
After RescueBoot has examined your current computer configuration it will then present you with the RescueBoot Wizard that allows you to perform any of those RescueBoot operations that are valid based on your current RescueBoot and computer configuration.
